Jacki a small shredder or a shredder that shreds into smaller pieces?

I bought a shredder and use it occasionally. Into a box goes all the credit approval notices, all the checks, pre-approved mortage thingys, credit card slips, and anything else that would make me uneasy being thrown away. When the box is full, I pull out the shredder, watch an easy movie and shred. The one I have does 3 pieces of paper at a time. The amount of trash generated to paper pieces is incredable. The shreds take up a lot more room.
