JC, I'm 14 months from retirement. Your right, there is no feeling of partnership at board meetings. However this past one is of special interest as it now declares percentage of your salary you recieve in stock. % = .76. That didn't exactly send troops out for celebration. Remember now, half of those go to restricted stock units actually earned in whole over the next 5 years. Most supervisors saw 2 weeks wage, manager maybe 4 weeks. Not near the same excitement as yesterdays past. This RSU system almost makes it meaningless. It is so watered down and complicated to follow that it's weak at best as a motifying factor. I don't see it lasting much longer. Not sure what will take it's place. Pension system has been out for new management some time ago. The more I type, the less partnership describes the future.
