<Chlamydia kills more women than AIDS> Yes, it is an extremely common STD. But....

So I guess this means that planned parenthood doesn't know what it is talking about when it says the worst thing that happens is sterility in men or infertility in women. Even Reiters syndrome which can develop from chlamydia has as its worst effect arthritis in men. In women it can lead to Pelvic Inflammatory disease (PID) which MAY result in an ectopic pregnancy, which can be life threatening.

Where did you get that interesting piece of mortality data...that chlamydia kills more people than AIDS. I doubt the accuracy of what you wrote. Sounds like scare tactics to me. But show me a credible source and I'll read it.

The "good news" is using a condom can prevent transmission of the bacteria causing Chlamydia. And it is easily treatable with antibiotics.

As for your stats on condoms, again misleading...

From Planned Parenthood-
...Of 100 women whose partners use condoms, about 14 will become pregnant during the first year of typical use. ("Typical use" refers to failure rates for women and men whose condom use is not consistent or always correct.) Only two will become pregnant with perfect use. ("Perfect use" refers to failure rates for women and men whose condom use is consistent and always correct.)

I don't know where you get your data but it isn't credible from what I can see. But hey, show me where and I'll read it.
