For accepting credit cards, Paypal seems to be the quick-n-easy way of doing so.

I believe that it'd be best to separate my personal accounts from my side business accounts, do you have any suggestions?

Open a business account at a bank. Expect to pay a monthly fee and a per-check fee, no matter how high your balance is.

I suspect that using something like Quicken for small businesses would be beneficial.
