Jobs, like real estate is determined by location, location, location. When I was living in Cleveland, I had a chose of getting laid off or taking a job transfer to the Philly area. Engineering jobs are nearly imposable to find in Cleveland, so I took the transfer. I've switched employers here a few times for higher wages, and now I'm trying to grow an engineering department, and having a hard time finding candidates.
