JohnElissa,

Greetings and welcome to the Motley Fool message boards.

You have to decide for yourself if it is appropriate to sell your stock. No one else knows your situation better than you do.

I can, however, make one suggestion. Do not consider how much you paid for the stock originally unless you have an unusual tax situation. A stock trading at a certain level is attractive or unattractive based on the company as it exists today, not based on how much you paid for it originally.

I can also tell you what I am doing. I am keeping the the stock with the intention of holding most of my shares for several years into the future. My decision, however, is based on my estimation. I think the stock will continue to rise, at a slow to moderate rate for some years to come. There are many other stocks I expect to grow at a faster rate, but I feel that there is more risk associated with owning those stocks. (Of course, I could be wrong. It would certainly not be the first time.)

Finally, I can give you a number of links to Foolish articles about deciding when to sell or avoid selling.
