Let me correct myself. Initialy the JACADA server which acts as the interface between the legacy systems and the web was written in a way proprietry to Jacada. Within the last year however the management/techies of the company decided that it would be a good idea to-rewrite the JACADA server using Java.

This means it will run on ANY operating system which supports Java i.e. just about all of them.

To answer your question more directly. No. I don't believe JCDA's performance has anything to do with IBM's current stock price problems. It has more, I believe, to do with the fact that JCDA is currently in a period of consolidation after a fairly hefty runup when it was played heavily by day/momentum traders.
