In a legal finding today, Judge Stanley Birch Jr of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals wrote in part:

“In resolving the Schiavo controversy, it is my judgment that, despite sincere and altruistic motivation, the legislative and executive branches of our government have acted in a manner demonstrably at odds with our Founding Fathers' blueprint for the governance of a free people — our Constitution.”

Thank heavens we have strict Constitutionalists on the bench like Judge Birch Jr.

And before you whine about culture of death, death zealots, and bemoan Clinton court appointees, Judge Birch was assigned to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals by George Bush (41) in 1990 and is a Vietnam War vet.

He's a patriot, and a champion of the process that makes this country great.
