Jumping in late here, I know, but Quorn makes the best, most convincing meat analogs (chicken, turkey, grounds, and dogs!) I've tasted yet.

By this do you mean that they taste more like meat than anything else? I must say that thte more something tastes like meat the less I am willing to eat it- it sort of grosses me out. This feeling has diminished over time (i.e. as the time I have been vegetarian has increased) because I no longer know what meat tastes like but I still can't usually eat really realistic meat (especially the fake ribs with the bone!)

I am not meaning to disparage your opinion at all; just wanted to throw in my views.
