Hi Barbara---------I read with interest all 50 posts on your board. (I am Karin's mother and live summers in Minnesota and winters in Phoenix) A group of ten of us women have done quite a bit of hiking over the past few years------in both states. We have hiked down the Grand Canyon, spent the night at Phantom Ranch at the bottom, and hiked up the next day. A rather hard hike but so much fun. We have hiked in several other parts of Arizona also and in several areas of Minnesota. It certainly is a fun "sport" and hope to do much more of it. It is also interesting reading this board to hear from all of you about your adventures. I shall continue to read this and will post about our next hike. J
