Just an FYI, I have had my taxes done at HRB for the past 5 years... at 4 different offices and have never had any problems, laziness or a lack of concern for my taxes. I have had a new preparer not know some of my tax questions, but they were able to find out and call me with the answers before my taxes were submitted. As with any large company there are going to be locations that are managed poorly. Since this seems to be case with that location, my suggestion would be to have your spouse document some of the calls and make a call to the district or regional manager. If they don't seem to care then take it to the human rescource department. They will usually try and help. As a stock holder I want to see all the branch offices please all the customers...however, I am old enough to realise that that will never happen. So if we can please most of them...that's what I'll take.
