Just curious, is there anyone out there who was bold enough to take a flier on T at the beginning of the year?

I bought it back on December 26, although that's because it showed up in the Workshop's Low Price/Book Value screen.

Of the DJIA stocks trading below their downside prices at the beginning of the's the leader of the pack thus far, although MSFT (which I do own) ain't doin' too poorly.

I own MSFT as well, and that is because it was a BI pick ( based on the 2000 data and using the 10% earnings bogey, it was the only BI stock amongst Dow picks).

These two are helping a very strong showing by the "value" part of portfolio, which is up about 25% since purchase on 12/26/00. Just don't ask me about the "growth" part of my portfolio! (down about 12% since purchase)
