Just my .02 on the censored KMDesignFool and BlueHerring posts. As a Fool living in a geographically challenged timezone, TMF prevented me from reading the subject posts from two of my favorite fellow Fools. Sorry, but if I needed NetNanny or another censoring device to protect my sensitive feelings, I would have installed it. I believe that the heavy-handed use of your censor button is a disservice to the adults that seem to frequent these Boards. I tend to question "authority" especially when it's imposed on me, and I would like to question The Fool Police's background, experience, and credibility when it comes to making judgements about what is right and wrong in someone's post. I'm sure that you're hired by the Gardner brothers to maintain some type of order and quality on the Boards. However, I do not think that meddling in your members' discussions and/or arguments is part of your job description. As long as profanity and other actions such as "flaming" don't occur, butt out! These Boards are mostly self-censoring and when annoying "registrants" hang around, TMF will hear about it soon. I tend to believe that the increased activity on the AAPL Board has attracted the attention from our "administrators" and that the dual censoring action was a knee jerk reaction, not well thought-out, and a disservice to the growing Fools' community. I also think that asking for an apology is futile, because admitting a mistake takes a Great Man indeed.
