Just to make things more complicated, I have a new(ish) scheme. Actually simpler. Use whatever weighting people prefer, but limit SP gains on the safe bet to 25%.

If someone is trying get more than 25% gain on a "safe bet" they are probably fooling themselves (or gaming the contest).

If folks make real safe bet choices, you probably won't even have to apply the limit.

If you like this idea enough to put up one more poll, you could structure it this way:

* Limit safe bet gains to 10%

* Limit safe bet gains to 25%

* Limit safe bet gains to 50%

* Limit safe bet gains to 75%

* No limit (original system)
