It may indeed be better in the long run, but it's just the initial shock of the extra costs that were not stated up front. The web site was selling me how I would save $10/month over my current bill. Obviously the "official" response would be that I am saving $10/month over my old bill, that the extra $10 I'm paying is not TALK's charges, but taxes. The bottom line to my pocket-book is that I'm not saving over what I'd normally pay per month.

I hate sales gimmicks.
