Ken, okay I can see that -- you've already got Roku and are obviously happy with it. But suppose you were starting over and didn't have a Roku and your choices were: (A) Buy a Roku for $99 and be limited to only the content it provides.(B) Buy a Chromecast for $35 and be able to do everything a Roku does plus cast content from your computer (HDD and DVD/CD player)? (C) Buy a blu-ray player for $110 (selecting the one which'll support the content provider you like) plus play your DVD/CD.I'm upfront about this and admit I can't hold a candle to many here who are extremely conversant in the subject, but to this neophytes eyes it looks like Roku would be the least desirable choice of the three.
