I am going to roll both a traditional contributory IRA and a Rollover IRA into a Roth. My girlfriend, who used to be self-employed, wants to roll her sheltered IRA's into a Roth also. She also has a Keough which she no longer contributes to. Can it be rolled over to a Roth as well? Thanks for any advice!!
Spitshine,<<She also has a Keough which she no longer contributes to. Can it be rolled over to a Roth as well? >>She may terminate it the Keogh and transfer the proceeds to a traditional IRA and then from that to a Roth IRA. She may not go directly from the Keogh to the Roth. Nevertheless, the instant the Keogh money is in a traditional IRA, it may be then transferred to a Roth.Regards….Pixy
