I was given a set of cast iron skillets that have never been use. The instruction which came with the skillets say to coat them with cooking oil and bake in the oven for a couple of hours then repeat the process with further instructions of baking some more if the skillets are still sticky.
I am wondering if there an easier short cut way to 'cure' the skillets? Any suggestions? tia.
