Kira:

I was busy for most of the day and didn't post the news. It seems that my "friend" has given up the ghost and agreed to a dissolution - ASAP. The "other" was quite happy today and told the office administrator to plan a celebratory lunch tomorrow.

Maybe I should post this on Vexations, but this is one of the things that p*sses me off about her. She did not bother to ask any of us if we were free tomorrow. She just "assumes" that since she is having a lunch, we will all be there. (I have a thought to pretend to have a client luncheon meeting, but am concerned that she will check on it.) This is one of the many reasons that I don't think that I can work for her.

But I am really trying to be positive about it (regardless of what I just posted) because I don't think that I can easily find a job like this one where I am well-paid, do work that I like and set my own hours, pretty much.

Aren't you sorry you asked?

Christina
