In the middle of the week, I received an email from Kiva informing me I had Kiva funds to spend.
I was slightly preoccupied with the whole debt ceiling fiasco, and what was happening with my
portfolio. Earlier today, I got a chance to log into my Kiva account. With my Kiva credit and more
funds I was able to sponsor five entrepreneurs or groups. I think the closest one was about 12% from
their goal. About 15 minutes later, I check my mail, and two of the entrepreneurs/groups had a fully
funded loan. I went off to run some errands for a couple of hours. Check my email, and another two
emails indicating another pair of entrepreneurs/groups have their funding.

I hope the other sponsors get a warm & fuzzy feeling when those emails
arrived. Somewhere around
the globe, with Kiva's assistance, an individual or group of individuals is starting, or is expanding,
their business. That's cool.
