Knowing full well I should not get into this t*t-for-tat discussion, I'm still going to post my opinion:

I have come to this board in the past to receive answers to questions on bonds & fixed income investments and have received kind and thoughtful answers regardless of how others have perceived the questions, i.e "to basic, why doesn't she already know this etc." Therefore I've never been ashamed or embarrassed by my lack of knowledge.

I find now that I'm considered by a few to be in the category of silly or unwilling to educate myself or do simple arthrimetic.

I'm saddened by the recent turn of events on a once useful and knowedgeable forum that has become overun by verbose & overbearing personalities that have run some of the most respected posters from this board.

All this being said, I long for the days of old when beginners such as myself had a kind and gentle place to ask our simple questions.
