I just got a Kyocera Hydro phone, my first smart phone, and my first experience with a swipe interface, if that's the word for it.

My problem is doing basic stuff, such as entering contact names and phone numbers. The manual is not that helpful, and neither was customer support when I started a texting interaction. (Probably my fault on both counts.) Nor did the guy at Boost Mobile seem all that knowledgable about the device. (He uses a Blackberry.)

My old LG phone, primitive though it was in some ways, made it very easy and intuitive to enter data then save them. I can't even figure out how to save stuff with the Kyocera. Thanks for any pointers.
