I've always relied on personal observations as a factor (one factor of many) when determining stock investment choices. I had such an observation this morning. I had a medical examination and needed routine blood work. The blood testing area was packed - I'd never had to stand waiting before. It was obvious that this testing center had added staff to keep up with demand. Don't know if Laboratory Corp. was involved in the outsourced evaluations - but something is up with the dramatic increase in volume. The question is whether this is an anomaly or the laboratory testing business is undergoing a sharp increase in testing requirements.
