LaraAmber: I'd talk to the financial planner about a few specifics before your allotted time with him/her. A big reason the information you wanted wasn't included in the shiny new folder is that most people don't want to see it and don't understand it anyway. Churn rates? You mean you'll be investing in butter? Seriously, let this "financial planner" know that you're smarter than the average bear and you want to see some specific figures so s/he can come armed with it, rather than being shocked and having to set up another appointment.
