Last night he said to me "Happy Valentines Day, Honey!". I didn't get you anything but I'll make it up to you.

He just started a new job so his funds have been a little tight but Hello.......how much does a card and some candy cost????

What should I do??? We both love each other but I'm really upset and starting to think about this seriously.

Good Lord, get over it! He wished you HVD and said he'd make it up to you. Do you doubt that he will, or does it have to happen on Valentine's Day to count?

Did you take him to the hockey game because you wanted something in return? Did you buy him a card and boxers because you wanted something in return? And, Did you tell him you wanted something for Valentine's Day?

I think Valentine's Day is soooo overrated and we women perpetuate that. Guys never seem to win. And they usually never know what we want (or don't want).

I've been with my BF for almost 5 years now and a Valentine's Day present does nothing for me. I'd prefer he just be around, doing all the little things he always does every other day of the year. Because that's what really matters most (to me anyway).

FWIW

Louise
