Last night, to my surprise (and delight), a local Chicago TV station aired the Puerto Rican Day Parade episode of Seinfeld. It's the only episode I haven't seen at least 30 times... in fact, I hadn't seen it since it first aired back in 1998.

I had long forgotten any of the details, but as I watched, a number of things seemed familiar to me, like I remembered having seen them. Kramer getting into the wrong car with a Puerto Rican family... George at the movies with someone aiming one of those red laser lights at his forehead... Kramer going to an Open House just to use the bathroom... Kramer was H. E. Pennypacker (the wealthy industrialist, philanthropist... and bicyclist)... Jerry was "Kel Varnsen" again (the name he used when George made him answer the phone pretending to be Vandalay Industries)... and George was Art Vandalay, of course.

They left in the scene where Kramer burns the Puerto Rican flag. It actually was an accident due to a lit match carelessly tossed... and who should catch him in the act of stomping on the flag (trying to put the fire out) but the two gay armoire thieves!

Glad I got to see it again after all these years.

I missed it. I've probably seen it 2 or 3 times.
