Anyone here care to clarify what looks like a mistake to me. I looked both at the fool and msn and they reported the latest quarter earnings at 14 pennies with .52 for the past year.

I looked at edgar online at the latest 10q filed 2/11/2003, as well as a pr news report available here and on msn. Both show company reported earnings last quarter of .21, and six month earnings of .40.

By my calculation, that would put full earnings for the prior year at .65 cents (using MSNs numbers for the last two quarters of year 2001).

This makes the trailing P/E of about 16, not the 21 reported both here and at MSN.

Anybody here can tell me where I screwed up?
