Hi decath, I'm glad you and your daughter are alright. I think it's good to go to the doc and get checked out in case something serious does develop, you have it documented anyway.

Scary situations you described. I don't believe I have the nerves for it now. Particularly being in traffic on a bicycle or motorcycle....I can get killed easily enough in my car with lots of close incidents nearly every day I go out by inattentive drivers.

The thing I keep wondering to myself now, is that now that my last kid is almost gone, I have more free time and money. I'm going to be doing a lot more adventurous things in the next 20 years.

I believe in doing everything to the max. I am however going to consult professionals more and make sure I have the right equipment. I still have scuba diving, speelunking, bungee jumping, parachute jumping and a lot more things to do.
