Let's get some empirical evidence. Has anyone had a close friend or relative die with too much or unnecessary life insurance? How about any heirs who were saved unnecessary grief because someone who died unexpectedly with a PROPER amount of life insurance? It is easy to say that life insurance (or any insurance for that matter) is a waste of money-- until it's needed. And, if you are talking about an agent's peace of mind, I'd rather sell a disability or long-term care policy. Good size premiums; stay on the books longer.
