Let's hope that most of the problem in Texas is short term drought. We hope rains return to normal next year.

Water has always been short in West Texas and most of the West. You would hope plans to deal with those problems are well along.

Water does not go away. It merely gets dirty or evaporates. So mostly water is about collecting it where its available, sometimes treating it to clean it up, and/or transporting it to where it is needed. Its usually all about cost.

I wonder if water projects are shovel ready and might fit into the proposed govt jobs program.
