In autumn of 2008 after reading an interview with Nuriel Rubini, I called my bank the next morning to sell everything where I had/ have funds invested. This was after the first big drop in the market, but the market came back-up in a last gasp before the second big plunge. This is when I called, before it nose dived again. I could have only been down around 15% on loses. What happened? I talked to someone there who said not to sell, and I listened.
