There doesn't seem to much activity on this board yet it seems to me that LNY current valuations could be compelling on LT basis (only marginally above book value; and book value seems to be understated as it owns virtuall all its real estate and this real estate is carried on the books at $500M while its current market value is probably much higher)

BUT i also see that there's a high short interest (what do they see that others don't, apart from higher gas prices, etc, is their a smoking gun at the company?)

CEO owns 27% but some suggest he's a lunatic manic depressive (not my words, but those of an analyst.) Yet his track record of increasing shareholder earnings seems quite good. Apart from the insiders there are about three value oriented funds who control 20% of the company.

So...who are the serious posters on the board?

Would be interesting to start a discussion about this company.

Regards,
