Dash just finished filling out 9 scholarship applications and that we picked up from his High School Guidance Deparment last month. Every one of them were local. They will amount to around $200 - $500 each -- not much when you consider how much college costs, but every little bit helps!

They ranged from teacher memorials who worked with students with learning disabilities, to sports scholarships and charitable organizations.

Even if he doesn't get any of them, I am glad he had the experience of filling them out. They all wanted essays of what his future plans for college were and how he thought the scholarship would help him realize his goals. I read them all and I am pleased with them -- I think he is, too!
