In a position where I can open a Roth IRA this next year. I already have the 401k maxed out and am experienced at picking out Mutual Funds, but am having a hard time picking out the place to set up my Roth IRA. I want a brokerage or fund family that has low expenses and offers some decent no-load Mutual Funds -- I've got 20-30 years before retirement, so I usually do some Growth, some Growth & Income, & some Index -- works well for me. I was thinking Janus or Fidelity.

Think I may just call around and ask to have some IRA kits/info sent to my home so I can compare costs. Most prospectuses are online, but having a hard time finding definite info about transaction costs.

Anyone have advice or experience to share?

Thanks,

Teresa
