Some of the cultures that promote the concept of multiple wives also promote the idea that girl babies should be aborted because they are a terrible "mistake". When this goes on for any length of time, you end up with significantly more male babies than female babies. Add in the factors that you mention and the frustration level goes up exponentially.I wonder if any of this impacts the number of actual gay people in a given population? Is it relatively consistant from country country? Of course in many of these cultures if one announces that they are gay, they stand less of a chance of surviving than the fetus that shows up as a female on an ultrasound test. That probably tends to keep the number of people who admit to being gay at low numbers. BG
