I am in the process of applying for LTC now. The provider/insurerer is getting all doctors inputs at this time, so I am waiting. Projected cost for me not my uninsurable spouse is $2883 annualy. After read aviable inforamation we did the following. We set up an account with www.buyandhold.com. We invest more than the insurance annual fee per month and add $10 dollars to each investment each month. This may offset the many problems encountered going with or without LTC. WE LIKE OUR PLAN.
