<If there is no literal Adam and Eve then there is no 'fall' of man. There would not be any need for a savior. Hence, the one unifying thing amongst christianity is negated.>

There is no "fall of man"??? How can you believe that if you
read the newspaper and look at history! Not just Adam and Eve, but all
of Mankind (including me!) has fallen and
certainly needed a savior and Christ was that Savior. I don't feel that
there is any inconsistency with our beliefs and
"timing" should not be a factor in the eternal scheme of things.

BTW don't you really feel there are many "unifying things among christianity". I'm thinking of belief in a loving God, loving our neighbors, helping those in need, protecting children, using our talents to improve our communities and the world, etc.

I don't claim any expertise on these matters--These are only my opinions. I do admire your strongly held beliefs although we may differ somewhat.
