<< HR 145,SPONSOR REP GENE GREEN.JANUARY 6,1999, REFERRED TO COMMITTEE. >>I hadn't mentioned this before, but please turn off your caps loc. It's hard to read.I checked HR 145 on Thomas. It was referred to Ways & Means, which I imagine is where it will die. If you go to the House website and follow the committee links, you can see what Ways & Means is pushing. In my last job at the IRS my primary duty was to read every bill introduced to amend the Internal Revenue Code. I was VERY busy. Hardly any ever make it out of Committee, and even fewer make it to enactment. If this is an issue that's important to you, bug your members of Congress. They just love to hear from constituents, especially in an election year.TMF ExROPhil Marti
