And my opinion is that if you want the cash price for a credit card purchase, go where the two are the same, rather than hassle someone for an undeserved benefit.

Yes, customers do it for convenience, but more importantly, they do it to protect against fraud, mistakes, or poor quality products. It is much easier to fight a company with your CC company behind you. >>

I hope you realize that some of the reasons why a company might have two prices are reasons why you would want to avoid doing business entirely, and the power of the CC company is limited.
