Is Jesus from God (divine) but not God?

I believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.

The word translated God in the NT is sometimes translated divine, but in English the word divine and God has different connotations.

In Peter's epistles, he wrote about us sharing in the divine nature. And we are also sons of God, or children of God... the phrase born again can also be born from above...

I am not able to state "Jesus is not God", but I am not able to state "Jesus is God". I do believe that Jesus and the Father are One... but sometimes I am not sure what that means.... maybe one day I will understand.....
