If I did not see the unicorn, I would still have no belief either way. In the area where I live, there have been legends of panthers in the swamps since I was a child, most of the DNR and others that should know have seen no proof that they still inhabit the area. If someone came in and said they had seen one, I would not go outside... the panther would not be there by the time I got outside anyway, but if the person was generally reliable I would accept their account...
