<<After lurking on these boards for several months and piping up my strengthening Foolish voice over the past couple of weeks, I decided to take action and carry my jingle bells down to the local high school, where, I now have an agreement with the principal to present a six-week course in personal finance to the 10th and 11th grade classes - ostensibly to fill in their health class (heeeeelllll yeah!) My first session will not be on credit cards, will not be on balancing a checkbook, it will be on "This is two hundred dollars. This is two hundred dollars on steriods called compounded interest. Any questions?" Seriously, credit cards are going to get a thorough going over here, as will any kind of personal debt they can't repay. But fools, aint this great???>>

Applause! Applause!
People on this board are saying that the kids are not educatedon financial matters. Now FOOLnrMoney does something about it. This is great.
