<<I keep asking for an argument against a single-payer system that is reasonable. I have yet to hear one. Maybe I should start asking for an argument that isn't monumentally stupid.

Personally I prefer a system of personal freedom and liberty. This is obviously not something you value.

Your priority is to make every person subject to government control and dictation in the kind of health care they can receive.

As with many political differences, this is fundamentally a question of values, not facts. That difference is values is why such arguments aren't subject to be settled by persuasion --- especially when one side can't get their way without the massive use of government power.
