As I understand it, earlier generations of Christians understood that this life was about suffering. A bed of roses they didn't expect.

These days, I guess that's something some people do not understand or will not accept.


If someone wants to take their own life, I have no objection to that. I don't think they should make that decision for other people as a general rule.
