<<I'm thankful I'm out of debt after my next paycheck. I suggest all GM card members do whatever is neccessary to GET OUT!
SAVE YOURSELVES!

Sorry about the long rant folks, but as the subject says, GM CARD bites.>>

Hey, DocZeous!

Hearty Congratulations for getting out of debt! That's awesome, and I applaud you for dumping that card. Good riddence to them!

If I were you, I'd even consider writing them a letter explaining why you are dumping them. 24% is nuts, especially when there are cards that offer interest rates at 1/2 that rate. If some banks can do that, if awfully outrageous for others to charge exorbitant rates.

My guess is that they do this to cover the rebates that others receive on their cars.

The interesting thing is I wonder if they realize that dissatisfied card holders like yourself may very be left with a bitter taste regarding GM, and may select to never purchase a car from them.

That's one way to bite back!

Best wishes for remaining debt-free!

Tony
