<<I've always walked as much as I can. I typically only use the car to drive to the golf course. In the past, I've usually take two long driving vacations a year. This year I've saving gas by substituting three trips where I fly to my destination and a week-long cruise to Alaska.

At $125/barrel for oil, that $217 cross-country airfare I paid in May cost Northwest about $300/seat for the fuel.

I wonder how long it will be before the cruise ship industry runs aground on high oil prices. Those ships are beautiful, but I have to suppose they will be casualties of high oil prices.
