Well, I agree with you in spirit. However, there are so many people who get themselves in a hole, and my fear would be that while the intentions would be right, many would not be disciplined enough to pay off the debt.

I think it would be a better plan for those wanting to reap rewards grocery shopping, to first make sure there is no balance. No debt. Then, buy your groceries, but make sure you put away the money immediately so there's no problem when the bill comes.

Sounds safer to me. ; )
