Since I don't carry a balance, I charge almost everything that accepts plastic. (tutition, gasoline, food, celluar phone, etc). At year end, I usually get about $180 back.

I had a Discover Card when they first came out. In fact, I think it was the first credit card I ever had that wasn't a department store card. As a matter of fact, I imagine the account is still active... I really ought to cancel it, if I haven't already.

Anyway, after using the card occasionally for a while, I got my first year-end statement and my cash back bonus award: 2 cents. They wouldn't issue a check in an amount that small, so somewhere in a computer bank out there in the financial universe, I've got an account with two pennies in it.

Hmmm... I wonder if it's paying interest...
