<<My dad taught me how to handle money when i was growing up and how to use it wisely i am passing this on to my children with the hope that will be wise with their CC's.>>

sonicman,

You were truly fortunate. I didn't have that training. My memories were of my Dad freaking out whenever Mom charged something, and of him worring about the bills.

Perhaps, though, now that I think of it, it was a lesson in itself. I vowed to never be in that position, and it's taught me the discipline to pay the bills in full every month.

I hope you will indeed teach your children the lessons that you learned. If all parents did this, I think there'd be much less consumer debt in our society.

Tony
