<<On the sensitive palate issue.... I can't stand Diet Pepsi. In a can or from a fountain, it tastes
awful to me. Diet Coke, on the other hand is sweet nectar. :-) >>

I totally, absolutely, 100% agree. Couldn't have said it better!

I also agree. I can definitely taste the difference between Diet Pepsi (yuck) and Diet Coke (can't get enough). I can't comment on the difference between regular Pepsi and Coke. I didn't follow the analysis between Coke and Pepsi as a stock selection because if I bought Pepsi stock, I would feel obliged to switch to Diet Pepsi and couldn't imagine doing that. KO or nothing.

I don't have consumer products companies as stocks (yet) but I would absolutely switch to buying those brands exclusively. If I bought MO, I would not take up smoking, but I would buy their many and varied other products.

I gotta go get a Diet Coke.
